Dear Parents,
Your
daughter has expressed an interest in auditioning for the 2009-2010 Kraemer
Middle School Colorguard.
The
KMS Colorguard is a performance group on campus. It is an extra-curricular activity that meets
twice a week after school and some Saturdays throughout the school year. It has a high reputation of being one of the
best junior high Colorguards in
To
become a member of the team, each girl will be asked to attend a weeklong
clinic to learn the audition routine.
This year the dates are: 5/27, 5/28, 5/29 from
As
with all performance groups there is a financial contribution. There is an approximate fee of $600 to become
a member. This fee covers the Fall &
Spring Performance uniform, jazz shoes, warm-ups, flags, etc. Do not worry though; this fee is not required
all at once. There is a payment plan
that goes into effect for 6 months once a student makes the team. This equates to $100 a month until
November.
I
am excited that your daughter has taken an interest in this program. With that interest comes some
responsibility. It is in the interest of
everyone to acknowledge the commitment of being on a team and if selected, to
make every effort to honor that commitment.

audition process, and if selected to uphold all the commitments that the team
requires.
