Kraemer winners were awarded with gift cards, ribbons and certificates. These students' entries have been sent to the next level of judging, which is the council level. This means that their entries will be judged along with all other middle school entries in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. Good luck to all these Kraemer students!

We would like to encourage everyone to participate in Reflections next year. The theme for 2012-13 is "The Magic of a Moment..." Reflections is a National PTA program with participants at the K-12 levels.

A special thanks goes to Kraemer Art teacher, Mrs. Blank for encouraging Kraemer students to participate, and for coordinating the collection of students entries. Also, thank you to the following local businesses who volunteered their time to judge our reflections entries: The Art Place in Placentia, and The Music Lab in Yorba Linda. A big thank you goes to The Art Place for generously donating certificates for one month of free art classes to each of our visual arts winners!

From Your 2011-2012 PTA President

My name is Deirdre Hill and I am the new PTA President at Kraemer Middle School.  Kraemer’s PTA board is looking forward to supporting our students this school year and continuing to build our Kraemer community through Family Restaurant nights and a spring Family Fun Run.  Although your student is now in middle school they still can use your support through joining PTA.  If you didn’t have an opportunity to join during registration, information will be going home with your student later this month.  There will also be an opportunity to join during Back-To-School Night on September 27th.   Other ways to support our school is to volunteer at our  Student Store, or join the committee to help plan Kraemer’s first ever Family Fun Run, which will be held in the spring.

Thank you to all of the parents who helped at registration and at our Welcome Back Breakfast for our teachers.  We are lucky to have a supportive Kraemer community.

I hope to see many of you at Back-To-School Night.  Please drop by the PTA table if you have any questions about our PTA.

Sincerely,

Deirdre Hill
