Incident Today 9-20-19
This morning, while Kraemer Middle School students were visiting Valencia High School for an assembly, Valencia received an unsubstantiated threat.
At the direction of Placentia Police Department, and out of an abundance of caution, the school was placed on a brief “Shelter in Place” while Placentia PD and the administrative staff swept the campus to ensure it was clear.
During this time, Kraemer Middle School students remained in the gymnasium without interruption to their scheduled assembly. The “Shelter in Place” lasted four minutes and was lifted shortly after it was initiated at the direction of Placentia PD. School has now resumed.
